Craig Youdale | Richard Braunauer | Hans Anderegg

Hans Anderegg was born in Bern, Switzerland, where he completed his education and chef training. He worked throughout Europe before coming to Canada and starting a family in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Chef Hans opened his own successful restaurant, which he operated for several years, and in 1988 began work as an instructor at the Culinary Institute of Canada in Charlottetown. He teaches many short courses and does consulting work for federal and provincial governments, as well is throughout Europe and Asia. Chef Hans has competed extensively in culinary competitions within the Maritimes and internationally, and has won several gold, silver and bronze medals.

Hans is also involved in the Scouts movement , Skills Canada, and the Canadian Culinary Federation. His hobbies include collecting Chanterelle mushrooms in the summer time!
